This blog is about my experiences as an underground food journalist in Southeastern United States. It is designed to educate you about what food is growing here. In 2020, this blog switched to a vegan point of view.

About Me

My photo
Helen A. Lockey
I am a former server turned informative underground food journalist. I like to cook using local ingredients. I have visited many farms, ranches, dairies, community gardens, urban farms, farm-to-table restaurants and wineries in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and even Maine. I have also interviewed companies that use sustainable practices. Occasionally, I go under cover to farm-to-table restaurants to see how they are preparing fresh, local ingredients.
